Joe
Brinton - Senior Geologist
Joe has a
B.S. in Engineering Geology from Brigham Young University (1997) and an
M.S. in Structural Geology from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks (2002).
He has worked for the BLM, USGS,
US Forest Service,
various geologic consulting firms, an oil field services company, and a
drilling company.
Joe's
international experience comes from living in Ecuador for two years, Brazil
for four months, and traveling throughout Mexico and Central America.
Joe's an
active triathlete and plans to finish an Ironman distance race next year.
To keep this goal alive, he works year round to maintain good physical
condition. He spends his free time rock-climbing, mountaineering,
backpacking, SCUBA diving, and spelunking.
